Dear parents/guardians,
My name is Mrs. Kristi Dagman and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this year. I am so excited to begin the new year and be part of your child’s learning at Custer School.
My name is Mrs. Kristi Dagman and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this year. I am so excited to begin the new year and be part of your child’s learning at Custer School.
I have completed two years of schooling at Bismarck State College and have received my Associate of Arts and Associates of Science Degree. I then transferred from BSC to Minnesota State University Moorhead. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialty in Science. In the spring of 2007 I received my Middle School endorsement from Dickinson State University.
I have lots of experience working with kids. I have worked thirteen years for the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District doing the after school (B.L.A.S.T.) and summer (Activity Center) program. I also teach Safety Village during the summer. I did 6 months of substitute teaching in the Bismarck/Mandan area. I was then fortunate to get a job at Custer as a paraprofessional from 2005-2007. Next, I was hired as the third grade teacher and this will be my eighth year teaching (2007- current)!!!
While I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I’m originally from Mandan and graduated from Mandan High School in 2000. My husband and I married in 2010 and our first child, Tyler Jay, was born on 11-11-11. Our second child, Payton Marie, was born on 2-4-13. AND we are expecting a baby boy in December!!! I enjoy spending time with children, being outdoors, traveling, playing mini-golf, playing and officiating and coaching volleyball, watching football (GO Steelers!), and I love playing slow pitch softball.
I am very excited about meeting you and your child. We will learn many new things this year. I am looking forward to a great year!!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dagman
Sincerely,
